My name is Shahid Sajjad, and I am the principal designer and founder of Zabbi.

I have spent most of my life in beautiful New Zealand, where furniture making has been my passion for over 20 years. What began as a hobby soon became a lifelong pursuit of design that balances elegance, precision, and natural form.

When I set up my technology company in Lahore a decade ago, I struggled to find furniture that matched the refined simplicity I was used to—everything felt bulky, over-engineered, and overpriced. In contrast, I believe furniture should be timeless, sleek, and shaped around the way we truly live. Homes are precious spaces, and interiors should be a reflection of personality and lifestyle, not a compromise forced by heavy, impractical designs.

That is how Zabbi was born—named after my children, Zahra and Shahaab, and inspired by the principles of sustainability that guide my everyday life in New Zealand. Our mission is to bring precision design and attainable luxury to Pakistan: furniture that combines refined aesthetics, thoughtful functionality, and the craftsmanship that makes every piece truly special.
